As we step into 2026, Mills & Mills LLP proudly reflects on a year of remarkable achievements, industry recognition, and meaningful community engagement.
In 2025, our Managing Partner, David Mills, was honored in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada™ for Trusts and Estates. Lauren Kason, Wills & Estates Senior Associate, earned recognition in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada™ for Trusts and Estates. Additionally, Zachary Silverberg, Partner in our Litigation Group, was named to Post Magazine’s 2025 Top Lawyers list in Toronto for Civil Litigation.
Our commitment to giving back remained strong. Mills & Mills LLP continued its longstanding support of the Lawyers Feed the Hungry program through sponsorship and volunteer efforts. We proudly sponsored initiatives such as the Knowledge Hub, fostering collaboration and insights for not-for-profits and charitable organizations, and the Leadership Knowledge Café, an official satellite event of Rebuild Ukraine. Other sponsorships included the Police Association of Ontario’s Fall Membership Meeting and Advocacy Day, the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, and The Lawyer Show, an annual theatre fundraiser benefiting Nightwood Theatre—where our own David Mills and Associate Arielle Di Iulio took the stage.
We also joined the Great Cycle Challenge to help fight childhood cancer and partnered with Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) to secure Qualified Donee status in Canada. Each year, our firm supports various charitable organizations working in our community. Last year, we were proud to donate to SickKids Foundation to help advance the health and well-being of children, and to HOPE Worldwide Canada to assist those impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
