Ukraine Medical Support is a Toronto-based charitable organization with a mission to provide medical and psychological help to refugees, single mothers, kids and the elderly. They aim to help save lives by offering essential support in times of crisis, and their efforts have made an impact on those in need.
UAMS has a Mississauga unit where dedicated volunteers organize and pack medical equipment. With the war in Ukraine, the demand for medical supplies increased placing considerable pressure on front-line medical workers. In response, UAMS shipped over 200 skids of medical supplies to assist the people of Ukraine in 2022 alone.
