COVID-19 Update — Out of an abundance of caution, and to assist in our community’s collective effort to combat COVID-19, our physical offices are closed on a temporary basis. We remain otherwise fully operational and look forward to continuing to provide the highest level of legal services to our clients. Read our full response notice here.

We are excited to share that Mills & Mills LLP Managing Partner David Mills will be appearing in Nightwood Theatre’s 2021 Lawyer Show: The Stars of Mars. This will be David’s second appearance in the Lawyer Show following his 2019 appearance in Mamma Mia!

The Stars of Mars is a new homegrown musical comedy set inside the first human colony on Mars, about a mother and daughter who are worlds apart. When Heather, the first human born on Mars, begins to ask questions about where she’s from, the astronauts and scientists decide to put on a show about the Earth they’ve all left behind. The Stars of Mars is a hilarious feminist musical about family, the future, our precious planet, and the rocket science required to put on a show in space.

The Lawyer Show is Nightwood Theatre’s main annual fundraiser. This year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, The Stars of Mars will be available to stream via Nightwood Theatre’s website from June 12th until June 30th. Tickets can be purchased at any time until the end of the performance period and the show can be viewed as many times as you like.

Support of the Lawyer Show audio recording of The Stars of Mars goes directly towards supporting local Toronto artists. Note that tickets are not eligible for a tax receipt, but any donations amounts will be tax-receipted at the close of the event.
