Michelle J. Santarossa
Michelle is an experienced corporate/commercial lawyer having practiced both in private practice and in-house. She was called to the Ontario bar in 1999 and also holds a Master of Laws degree in Business Law.
Michelle provides clients with general counsel and advice on legal issues relating to ongoing business activities. She assists clients that range from owner operated businesses to multi-national corporations in a variety of industries, including franchising, financial services, mortgage brokering, information technology, manufacturing and distribution, and professional services. She helps business owners and senior executives identify risks and implement strategies to reduce those risks.
Michelle has extensive experience helping clients navigate through business acquisition, expansion and sale transactions. She facilitates with the negotiation and structuring of asset and share purchases and sales, mergers, joint ventures, and acquisition financings.
Michelle assists clients with business formation, commercial arrangements, and the integration of change in their operations. She provides strategic input and guidance on business structures and reorganization, financing arrangements, and the formalizing of commercial relationships.
