Kristen practices exclusively in all areas of family law. Kristen negotiates and drafts complex cohabitation and marriage contracts, advises clients with respect to their legal rights for custody and access of children and guides clients through their entitlements and obligations with respect to child support and spousal support.
Kristen navigates clients through the challenges and complexities of separation and divorce, employing a comprehensive range of dispute resolution strategies including direct negotiation, mediation, arbitration and court proceedings. Kristen approaches all matters with common sense, practical solutions and is settlement focused. She appears regularly in both the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice.
Kristen is trained as a collaborative lawyer and is a member of the Toronto Collaborative Practice Group.
